Bubo the head blacksmith in the Great Ga'Hoole Tree, a ryb, guardian, and a member of the parliament.
History[]
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole[]
Bubo was among the Parliament when Soren and the Band had arrived. He was increasingly worried about a new material called "flecks" and claimed they could have been weapons, shields, or perhaps armor. Later, while the Band learned about Ga'Hoole, he was seen forging a piece of armor.
A little afterwards, upon hearing Allomere's story about the kidnapped owlets, Boron had commanded him to "sharpen the battle claws", thus flying into battle with the other Guardians. During the battle with Pure Ones, he is also seen in the battle; especially as he, Boron, and Strix Struma execute an expert sky diving display. After the Pure Ones retreat, he is seen one last time as Soren and the Band are crowned guardians.
Trivia[]
- Bubo's goggles in the movie were likely based off of snow goggles used by the Inuit, worn so less light enters the eye.
