History[]

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole[]

Digger is first seen when Soren and Gylfie unknowingly go after a moth he was hunting. After a slight confrontation, he introduces them to Twilight, and the two join them on their journey to find the Guardians. As Twilight carries Mrs. P. via his lute, Digger tells her that she may be the first snake ever to fly, a notion that pleases her.

As they near their destination, a storm freezes Digger's wings, causing him to fall out of the sky. Soren dives after him, thinking Digger has drowned, only to stare awestruck as he sees that Digger was saved by Boron, and taken with the others to Ga'Hoole. After having his injuries tended to, Digger is seen at dinner, gorging on multiple caterpillars. When Twilight says he thinks it would go better with a little music, Digger spits out the caterpillars in shock. In the band's training with the Guardians, he is seen being pinched on the tail by a crab.

When Soren realizes the Guardians are being led into a trap, Digger and the others join him in a rescue attempt. During the confrontation, Digger, along with Twilight and Gylfie fights several bats. During this, he tells Twilight to sing a battle song, and when Twilight sings about their wings being ripped clean off and they fight no matter if they're going to die, Digger says, "Is that supposed to be inspiring?" Later, as the Guardians are fighting the Pure Ones, Digger, along with Gylfie, protects the moon blinked owlets from bats and the Pure Ones.

When the battle is over, Digger, along with the rest of the band, is made full-fledged Guardians.
