Flint mop is the Ga' Hoolian terminology for "punishment" where the ryb who is saying the other needs a flint mop is the one to give it. When Dewlap caught Otulissa reading a spronk book, she was the one who had to give her a flint mop of collecting dead prey to burry in the tree roots. Since the guardians don't believe in punishment, owls are assighned to flint mops, which are alot like chores. In the game, Parzival mentions flint mops when he, Shard, Streak, and Uriah are racing, saying "Last one there has to do my flint mops!"
