Faolan has always been an outsider. Exiled as a pup, then shunned by his fellow wolves for his unusual connection to the bears, Faolan has struggled to earn a place in the pack. But a terrible danger is looming on the horizon, and Faolan is the only one who knows how to fight it. Will he be able to claim his rightful place as leader? Unless Faolan can inspire the pack to stand together, it could be the end of the wolves of the beyond.
Plot
Edit
In the Beyond, the winds have shifted. It is summer and it should bring plenty of prey. But, it is still like winter with barely any prey and lots of blizzards, snowstorms, and frost. A strange wolf is leading other wolves to their deaths. They believe that the Skaar would "save" them if they died. They dance until they die. They dance in "dancing circles" and can't eat any prey. They call the wolf leading them the Phrophet. He wears an owl mask of Gwyndor's, an owl warrior and Gwynnyth's father. Edme and Faolan are sent to help the Blood Watch wolves, but they also try to capture the Prophet and stop this dancing nonsense. The Prophet is revealed to be Liam Macduncan who went by-lang at the death of his mother cathmor.
