This is an issue that's been discussed for quite a while... The topic of whether or not articles relating to Wolves of the Beyond characters should be on this wiki.
Indeed, it's a spin-off and takes place in the same universe, but it is also a series unto itself. I've looked through the Wolves of the Beyond Wiki, and I see that there's far more info about the characters there then what we offer here. There's also an abundance of dedicated fans taking care of that wiki. If you're looking for info about the wolves, that's the place to go. Hence, I've added a link to that wiki and some key pages to the wiki navigation at the top (It's "Wolves Wiki" because "Wolves of the Beyond Wiki" wouldn't fit.) since it's so closely affiliated.
Now, about the wolf pages on here.. This is the Guardians of Ga'hoole Wiki, so all the pages here should relate to the Guardians of Ga'hoole series and its directly related spin-offs and movie. Wolves of the Beyond is a little more removed from Guardians of Ga'hoole. It deals with different characters, different locations, and you don't need any foreknowledge of the Ga'hoole series in order to understand it. This wiki deals with the plotline of the Guardians of Ga'hoole series, and Faolan isn't pivotal to that plotline, in the same vein that Gylfie isn't pivotal to the Wolves of the Beyond plotline.
So, what I'm saying is, articles about wolves who don't appear in Guardians of Ga'hoole or any other directly related material should be on their own wiki, the Wolves of the Beyond Wiki. However, like the books are affiliated, the wikis themselves can be closely affiliated, in a way that links them to one larger community.
